Dr. Chim Yang, DO

Dr. Chim Yang is a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and one of the driving forces behind a modern focused approach to aesthetic and reconstructive care in Santa Cruz, CA. Known for his precision, surgical artistry, and commitment to natural, timeless results, he brings a thoughtful and detail driven philosophy to every patient experience.

Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Yang completed his medical education at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating at the top of his class with Magna Cum Laude and inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi honor society. He went on to complete his five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, where he served as Chief Resident and earned multiple distinctions, including the Patrick Murray Award. He went on to pursue subspecialty training in Facial Plastic Surgery, completing a highly competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Maas Clinic in San Francisco under the past President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, training with leaders in advanced facial, nasal, and neck techniques.
